With all of the publicity in the world today about renewable and alternative energy sources,
people are beginning to ask: What are they? And, what are they used for?
While it can be difficult to answer some questions simply, it is still possible to answer most.

What Are Alternative Energy Sources?

Alternative energy sources are sources of energy that do not burn fossil fuels.
They do not generate carbon dioxide, nor do they release it into the atmosphere.
They do not produce greenhouse gases nor alter the climate.
This is because, these sources do not burn fossil fuels. These sources are renewable, and they are clean.

These sources include clean coal, nuclear power, solar power, wind power, hydro-electric power,
geothermal power, ocean thermal power, biomass, hydrogen fuel cells,
and most notably, energy produced by the wind.

How Are Alternative Energy Sources Used?

These sources are used to generate electricity.
The electricity they produce is used to power devices that use energy, like lights, computers, etc. that use energy.
It is also used to drive vehicles that use energy. The more energy that is used in a
given device, the more power is generated.

One interesting thing about energy produced by wind is that it is renewable. That is, it does not run out.
There is no way to create it or destroy it. There is also no way to destroy it. When the wind blows, it blows.
This makes it unique among alternative energy sources. It is a constant, reliable, and clean source of energy.
It can be used to drive cars and operate machines without fear of running out of fuel.
This makes it an attractive alternative to fossil fuels.

How Will We Fuel Future Growth?

If we decide to fuel the future growth of our civilization with wind,
that future growth can be fully powered with a system of pipes that use geothermal energy.
This is because wind is readily available and easy to harness.
Unlike solar energy, wind is readily available even in places where it is hard to get sunlight.

The best places to harness wind are generally areas that get a lot of sunshine,
or can count on frequent blowing winds. This is one reason why many consider wind as the most
promising of all alternative energy sources. It is widely available and easy to harness. T
his makes it a good solution for many areas of the world where sunlight is not readily available.

The downside of wind energy

The downside is that the consumption of wind energy will require massive amounts of
concrete to mount the wind turbines in the places where it is needed.
This can lead to air and water pollution. In most areas, it will not be feasible to use concrete
to power entire cities, thus requiring the use of cars and trucks to serve the needs of the needs of each city.
This will also have to be addressed by policy of responsible governments.

Wind energy is a fast-growing solution for powering many of the future needs of our civilizations.
It seems to be the perfect answer to our energy needs.
As more research is being done to make it even more efficient, wind energy is improving rapidly.
In a few decades, we may never need fossil fuels again. What will be the answer to our future energy needs?
That will be determined by our responsible governments. Their policies and actions will decide our future.
